This a series of promotional graphics for Dedalus Wine's summer event, Wine Crush. The project called for material that could accommodate a poster, shirt graphic and online posts. I chose to build a graphic out of small, individual drawings that could be adjusted to fit the other uses while maintaining the spirit of the overall image and event.

This illustration is for the Waking Windows music festival hosted in and around the rotary of the City of Winooski in Vermont. Originally pitched as a screen printed poster graphic, the image leans into a minimal color palette depicting a playful scene inspired by the landmarks of the cities bustling round-about block. After a last minute adjustment to print on a shirt, the design was revised from it’s original layout to better serve the canvas of a t-shirt.

I was asked to make a custom shirt graphic for Young at Heart Ginger Beer. After seeing my work on a shirt at a local music fest, the owner of Young at Heart, Jules Hackney, reached out to me to make a shirt in the lead up to celebrating three years of serving up his ginger beer to the fine folks of Burlington, VT. Jules left the art direction very open ended, citing how he enjoyed how fun the music fest shirt I made was and wanting something like that. Honoring a "young at hear" mindset, I went with a production scene pulling inspiration from the likes of Willy Wonka and Dr. Suess-esque whimsy.

This project was conceived in preparation for Burlington's South End Art Hop in early September. I hired the help of friend and local fabric screen printer, Brit (Pepopress) to help bring this idea to life. It was no easy task, we chose to hand-dye the shirts, then used attention demanding water-based inks to achieve the challenging feat of over-printing to create additional colors. All on a manual press set-up. After some testing and prep, this exclusive shirt design was brought to life.
